Salary Range:  Starting at $50,000 to $60,000 (Starting wage varies by education and experience)

Compensation: Full time salary plus benefits. (Exempt Employee).

Develops, implements, and coordinates Climet's quality assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties personally or through delegation to subordinates:


Education and Qualifications
  • • Bachelors degree in Business or related field from a United States Department of Education (USDE) accredited university
  • • Management experience of 5+ years in a ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
  • • History of employment stability
Required Skills

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
  • • Understanding of electronic assembly and machine shop preferred
  • • MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • • Ability to perform analytical reasoning
  • • Able to work and manage with minimum direction and supervision
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Overall management of electronic assembly, machine shop. calibration, and purchasing departments
  • • Weekly and Monthly reports to General Manager
  • • Ability to follow and provide improvement advice for Climet's QMS  plan in compliance with ISO 9001:2015
  • • Develop and manage manufacturing measurements for performance improvement
  • • Conduct monthly Sales & Operational Plan (S&OP) to ensure appropriate staffing levels and completing Capital Appropriation Requests as necessary.
  • • Identify production bottlenecks and take immediate corrective action.
  • • Work closely with Planning to establish daily and weekly production priorities
  • • Work closely with Planning to improve production capacity
  • • Train and Cross-Train manufacturing staff
  • • Create, manage and present manufacturing budgets
  • • Ensure plant safety is always maintained in compliance with Cal/OSHA.
  • • Participate in Engineering Change Board (ECB) meetings
  • • Primary lead for Alpha and Beta prototypes
  • • Manage a team of direct employees and a small team of well-qualified managers.
  • • Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements

Successful candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • • Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer
  • • Must be able to lift 20 lbs. from the floor to above your head.
  • • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required.

Reports to the General Manager

A basic English and Math test will be administered as part of the pre-selection process.  The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as condition for continued employment.
