Location:  Redlands, CA. 

Compensation: Full time salary plus benefits. (Non-Exempt Employee).

Education and Experience

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field preferred

   
Qualifications

  • • High School diploma or equivalency required. Strongly prefer Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Technology, or related field
  • • 3+ years prior experience as an Electronics Technician (preferred)
  • • Experience repairing & calibrating Climet equipment (preferred)
  • • Experience building computer systems and test jigs
  • • IT and networking experience (preferred)
  • • CAD experience (a plus)
  • • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • • Ability to read and comprehend Basic Math & English
  • • Able to do simple circuit design and read an electronics schematic (a plus)
  • • Able to do read assembly drawings
  • • Ability to troubleshoot and rework PCBs down to component level
  • • Experience programming firmware and microcontrollers (a plus)
   
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Test prototypes
  • • Create and maintain test fixtures and develop procedures, flow diagrams, etc.
  • • Interface with Engineering Team and assist writing test, calibration, and assembly procedures.
  • • Attend Change Control Board (CCB) meetings
  • • Backup to Nonconformance and Prime Cal Labs and training
  • • Conduct engineering investigations related to production
  • • Assist production personnel with training, troubleshooting, and first point of contact.
  • • Create and maintain assembly procedures, routings, visual aids, tools, and identify equipment needs
  • • Must follow all procedures established for ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • • Other duties as assigned
   
Physical & Other Requirements
  • • Must be able to type.
  • • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
  • • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time required.
  • • Ability to distinguish between colors.
