Department:  Admin Department

Location:  Redlands, CA. 

Compensation: Full time salary plus benefits. (Non-Exempt Employee).  Starting wage $14/hour to $17/hour and varies by education and experience.

The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks including budget preparation, scheduling, reporting, general clerical tasks. Strong interpersonal communication skills, organization, and secretarial skills required. Ability to perform basic business analysis. Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, department operations required.

Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma (required). Associate's degree or equivalency from a two-year college or trade school preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of prior relevant work experience (preferred)
  • • Excellent prior job stability a must
  • • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • • History of outstanding attendance and reliability
  • • Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills: verbal and written
  • • Excellent English writing skills
  • • Ability to type 40 wpm
  • • US work authorization (required)
   
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Receptionist (issue/track visitor badges) and answer the phone
  • • Distribute incoming mail and other correspondence daily
  • • Perform daily general office duties: copying, scanning, filing
  • • Provide edits to documentation as needed
  • • Maintain schedules: candidate interviews, conference rooms, etc.
  • • Coordinate collection of department reports and preparation of draft division reports
  • • Order office supplies
  • • Plan, coordinate, and execute company events
  • • Manage sensitive and confidential matters professionally
  • • Cross training in accounting and human resources
  • • Other duties as assigned
   
Physical Requirements

Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • • Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer
  • • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. from the floor to above your head.
  • • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required.
   
Other

A basic English and Math test will be administered as part of the pre-selection process.  The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as condition for continued employment.  This is a TEMP to HIRE position.
