Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Department:  Planning Assurance

Location:  Redlands, CA

Compensation: Full time hourly plus benefits. (Non-Exempt Employee).    Wage varies depending on experience.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. 

   
Required Skills

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • • Good interpersonal skills and ability to get along with others
  • • Ability to read and comprehend Basic Math & English
  • • Basic computer skills
  • • Prior job stability and excellent reliability is a must
  • • Must have strong organizational skills
  • • Prior 3+ years experience in shipping & receiving is preferred
  • • Ability to differentiate between colors
   
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Recieve and verify all incoming parts and products daily
  • • Weigh & package all final shipments daily
  • • Accurately complete all domestic and international shipment documentation
  • • Must maintain a clean and organized work area
  • • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • • Must follow all procedures established for ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • • Other duties as assigned
   
Physical Requirements

Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • • Must be able to type at least 20 words per minute.
  • • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. from the floor to above your head
  • • Must be able to push a cart
  • • Sitting, standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time required
   
Other

A basic English and Math test will be administered as part of the pre-selection process.  The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as condition for continued employment.
